DJ Competition
**CD's only, no Vinyl**
Press-Play in association with Djs-for-Hire.com will be hosting its annual CDJ Battle of the Dj's competition in Dorset, UK. We are looking for local talent to prove they have what it takes to put together a 20 minute mix in front of other Dj's, a crowd and judges.
This event is still in its planning process but would like to fill up the available Dj slots up now before we have a confirmed venue booking (Bournemouth or Christchurch) and dates to be announced soon.
The competition will be split into 4 Genre Heats, a semi-final and a final:
Heat #1 - Electro or Progressive House - 8 available Slots
Heat #2 - Minimal or Tech - 8 available Slots
Heat #3 - DnB or Breaks - 8 available Slots
Heat #4 - Techno or Trance- 8 available Slots
1st place from each heat has a confirmed slot in the final.
2nd place from each heat goes through to the semi final.
Semi-Final: 4 Djs will battle out for one place in the Finals
The Final: 5 Djs will battle to be the Winner!
Prize:
The Winning Dj will get a year's subscription to Djs-For-Hire.com, a worldwide Dj agency providing bookings for Clubs, Private and Event bookings and £200 cash!

The competition is aimed at any DJ's Bedroom or Club. If this describes you, then read on.....
The placement fee for each Dj to secure his slot is £10 payable on the night or via djs-for-hire's PayPal (to be provided once event confirmed)

How do you decide the winner…?
On the night you will be auditioned by small panel of 'experts'… Well maybe not experts, but people that have been mixing long enough to know if you can mix a little. The winner will be chosen based upon their mixing style, ability and choice of tunes.
Terms and conditions:
- No Premade Set on the CD's just individual tracks.
- Tracks must be original and not audio edited to help with effects etc.
- You can mix as many tracks as you want in the time available
- The Host states when you start and stop.
- The Judges decision is final.
- We hold the rights to the prize until given out.
