Dj Janno started djing at the early of 16. Being Dutch, he had natural liking for dance music that developed into a passion. Having moved to Hong Kong with an interest in djing, he decided to give it a shot. Within a month of his first introduction to turntables, he had his first gig. With the good response, Dj Janno decided to really pursue his passion for music. He started to spin the decks at biggest clubs and venues in Hong Kong After a year of spinning in many well-known venues in Hong Kong, Dj Janno started to get into the production side of dance music.
One song "influence," released on a Hong Kong Compilation CD was his young success as a producer. With this he decided to study Sound Design & Music Technology at the University of Arts London, where he is currently situated.Once the young Dj had finally reached legal age, the offers came from everywhere. Dj Janno received many gig requests in mainland China.
Dj Janno has been selected to spin along the likes of BT, Adam Sheridan, Jimmy Van M and of course the big man himself TIESTO. His big break through is inevitable.
Dj Janno put his focus on his production. He has a small online record label (sonic expression). Dj Janno will definitely be a name common in record boxes in the near future.

DJ Janno also has an artistic side in production, working with artists, and composing sound fitting a performance. The successful exhibition Art to Wear, was really taken to another level with Dj Janno’s view on sound.
